Commercial Tinting

The Tint Man installs a vast range of commercial window films. Many shades and colours are available on request.

Our most popular films are:

Johnsons NS05 which reduces 66% heat, 92% glare and 99% UV light.

This film offers excellent day time privacy as well as heat and glare reduction and maximum UV protection against fading of blinds, furniture and carpets. This film will darken a room and would usually be recommended for East or West facing windows in open/ light coloured rooms.

This film has a black external appearance.

Johnsons NS15 which reduces 53% heat, 81% glare and 99% UV light.

This film offers very good day time privacy (the difference with NS15 from the NS05 is you can see blinds from outside but nothing behind) it offers a good level of heat and glare reduction without making a room to dark. This film also offers 99% UV protection against fading of blinds, furniture and carpets. This film is suitable for any windows and will still provide a good amount of natural light.

This film has a black external appearance.

Johnsons NS35 which reduces 51% heat, 60% glare and 99% UV light.

This film is best suited where maximum natural light is needed (small dark rooms ie: server rooms or kitchenettes). It offers moderate day time privacy as well as heat and glare reduction. It still offers maximum UV protection against fading of blinds, furniture and carpets.

This film has a black external appearance.

SV10 which reduces 83% heat, 96% glare and 99% UV light.

SV10 has a silver mirror appearance to the exterior of an office/industrial complex/school etc. This film would usually be recommended for grey "tinted glass" or clear Laminate glass, to minimize the chances of thermal stress fractures to the glass. It can also be used for internal windows which are required to be one way visual glass. The SV10 offers excellent privacy and maximum heat, glare and UV reduction. This film is superior in performance to black external films as it reflects the heat and does not retain it. They may not be suitable if the windows face a road due to the high reflective nature of the film.

These films can also help to reduce the running costs of your air conditioner as the window films stabilise the temperature of the room.

The Johnsons sample guide state, "Solar specifications testing performed on film mounted to 1/8"clear glass tests equipment and methods are in accordance with ASTM, ANSI and NFRC standards. Calculations performed using L.B.L optics/window 5.2. Values expressed hereof are typical and provided for comparative purposes only".

Film removal is available for windows and is subject to a per hour charge with a minimum call out of one hour. Film can usually be removed quite easily from windows and The Tint Man does not use any chemicals in the removal process to ensure safety of your staff, customers and office equipment.
